Clarendon House has three lounges and a separate smokers conservatory. A modern bedroom wing addition added many purposefully designed single en-suite rooms to the home. Sky Television is available in every bedroom and lounge and activities are organized daily in main lounge areas. The grounds consist of a large garden, patio area, three well-stocked ponds, a wishing well and car parking facilities, all to be enjoyed by residents and visitors alike. In order to help them, the home also has an abundance of garden furniture and gazebo's. The well tendered gardens can be simply enjoyed by residents or we can help them take pleasure in gardening activities. The original part of the home has two double bedrooms and a selection of single rooms with and without en-suite facilities. The bedrooms in the new wing are all single with en-suite toilet facilities.

Whether in the new or old part of the house, all bedrooms have a nurse call switch and a TV point. Access to a telephone is either on a cordless digital handset or a pay phone located in the lobby. The decor in Clarendon House is both tasteful and practical, emphasizing that good care can be given in a very homely atmosphere. The excellent food is served in the lounge/dining areas and the emphasis is on good home cooked English cuisine. We use a lot of local produce and never provide convenience foods. There is always a choice and the home is happy to take suggestions and often "experiments" with the residents' into more exotic or non English foods and dishes. Special diets such as diabetic needs or low salt diets are also catered for. We recognize that some people have difficulty coping with age related problems and aim to help them maintain as fulfilling life as possible.
